Vibration in rear when braking 200 1992

Wagon with 150,000 mi. When I brake with moderate pressure there is a vibration from the rear. If I brake very gently - no vibration. My '85 wagon (198,000)vibrates much more severely on both braking and acceleration. Are these trailing arm bushing problems?

Also on the 92 wagon. When I first run the car from cold, the brake peddle goes almost to the floor for about the first 4 minutes and after that, I just have to touch the peddle and the car is braking. Pumping the brake makes no difference.

A third question. Again on the 92. I experience intermittent front end shimmy - intermittent meaning intervals of a week and shimmy as in unbalanced wheel. This occurs at 45 mph and above and not related to road surface conditions. Michellin tires. Most of the time the car is fine apart from these occasional and very disconcerting episodes. What could be the cause?

Thanks for help and suggestions
