Installing Cruise Control 900 1995

Since all and 960sV/S90s came with cruise in the US that I'm aware of, I wonder whether you are either outside the States or someone has helped themselves to your unitl. If it's the former, you're right it should be prewired. You will ned a new stalk with controls, of course and the rest of the unit. I've never even had to look at one of these, other than to set it, but later model 240s were prewired and installing was not much of a problem. I really think it might be close to 'plug and play', at the risk of oversimplifying it. If it's the latter, then there's no telling whhat's missing, but hopefully not the wiring lumes.

If it's a US model w/o cruise as OEM, then Volvo started to chop off items to be used as options rather early. I know with my 97 car, the nivomats and limited ALD became options, as they were stardard on 92's and later.
