Gas on bottom of turbo 700 1987

Hi All,

My car was running perfect and then just died as I approached a traffic signal.
Tried to restart but nothing. Had it towed home and kept trying to start it but nothing. Finally started today 24 hours later , and drove it 100 yards and it died again, it restarted after a couple of tries and was able to back up in the driveway and park it. revved it up a bit and died again and will not restart. Then I noticed a strong smell of gas and looked around and found a nice little puddle of gas on the ground under the turbo??? I put my hand around the bottom of the turbo and it was very wet with gas??? I don't get it. Please help with all of your knowledge. Pulled a plug and it was dry.
