Engine Overheating 200 1985

first off, i would flush and fill the radiator with correct mixture. i was having problems with my 5.0 heating up, so installed a new thermostat. same problem. turns out i had installed a brand new but faulty thermostat. i trouble shot it by removing the thermostat altogether which resulted in correct temp. all is well again. volvo engineers apparently saw a need for an auxilliary pusher fan, which may help you as well. they are on many if not all turbo cars. good luck and post your results
