Need info on 1984 242 turbo 200 1984

I am looking at an 84' 242 turbo with about 180K. The car has had a new turbo, water pump, brakes, radiator, and has been repainted.

I am aware that these model years tend to have a problem with the wiring harnesses and are more likely to rust out, is there anything else that I should be aware of as far as the fuel injection system etc?

Also, what motor is this likely to have, B21FT? maybe B23FT? As far as I know these are the only options on this year, am I correct?

I currently own an 88 240 with the b230F k-block. How do these motors compare as far as duribility? Any general info on the b21FT and B23FT motors would be helpful.

Any reason that this car wouldn't stand up to another 50-60K with reasonable maintenance?

Thanks for all of your help as always.

Greg Normington
