Freeze Plugs 900

Get some Bar's Leak in the grey bottle. Pull the top rad hose while cold (catch as much coolant as you can below - won't be much) - and pour it in the top hose. Re-attach and start - filling the resevoir with 50/50 mix as you go - you won't need much - if any. Let it run for about 15-20 minutes, watching the temp and resevoir. You may have to add a bit of coolant later.

I had a leak in my head gasket, and so far - so good. The Bar's in the grey bottle (not the clear one) is recommended by Jag and some other mfg. It will probably turn your coolant murky brown (did mine).

Be careful when you pull the top hose with the plastic neck on the radiator. It will probably be fine - but I know that my 91 940 neck crumbled and broke a spell back -and I had to get a metal radiator. Come to think of it - if it breaks on you - you will have saved yourself money in the long run.
