heater fan blade (plastic) removal 120-130 1967

Just removed the fan to clean out the housing - pine needles, leaves, unclog the drain. The fan seemed to need lubing - hardly spins more than a couple of revs by hand. Ended up breaking one of the through bolts trying to remove the cover to get to bushings to lube them. In order to replace the bolt, I have to remove the plastic (later?) fan blade, and seeing no set screw, as on the earlier, metal version, I presume that it's a press fit. Any helpful hints as to how to easily remove the blade from the motor shaft without doing any further damage? Also for lubrication - oil, grease?
