Still under the gun to fix my leak, if I pull the breather box off the block.......... 200 1987

I am still deciding wether to do the front sealreplacement, or find the source of my excess. crank pressure. I did the test where you hook a hosu up to the flametrap, open the oil fillercap, and check for any blockage by blowing air through as recommended by rstarkie, and there is little or no restriction/blockage. My next stupid question is, do I go ahead and pull the box off, even though I can blow through it, and if I do, I know I will need an o-ring, is this something I can go to the autoparts store and match up in their o-ring selection, or a donut seal, and do I have to get one from a dealer. one last thing, I have read about a hose that goes down into the oilpan, is this a hassle to get back on, and is there clearence to pull the box up and out of the block.
