960 Tranny 900 1992

Good Evening,
Stephen Ringlee sent me to you with my problems. Please help.
I have a 1992 960 with 150,000kms.
The problem is the tranny which acts as follows:
Seems to act more when the weather is warm.
Upshifting: 1-3-2-3-4 (goes to 3, backs to 2, then ups to 3 and 4)
Downshiting: does not because most of the time stays in 4 gear.
The code of the 2nd line of the tameplate is: 26139 4, which seems to indicate a AW-70-71 tranny.
What do you think?
The Check Engine light is on and the code reads 314.
Please help. I hope is not the tranny itself.
