Try again - help on sunroof adjustment ! 700 1992

I agree with dick. As helpfull as the faq is with the common sag and leak problems related with the sunroof, there are problems not covered. My '89 came with the exact scratching on the left side of the sunroof as you described. It doesn't do it now so the PO must have taken care of it. My advice is to dismantle to sunroof, per instructions in the faq and investigate all the parts.

btw, while on the topic of sunroofs, i have yet to solve my problem. mine does not retract evenly. when retracted to the close position, the left side has about a 1/8" gap. this started happening after I re-installed the headliner for the sunroof. so, i probably messed with something while doing that. anyways, sorry about the length.
good luck, and please post back if you solve it. thanks

matt
