Substitute A/C Condenser Fan?? 700

I am planning on going to the pick and pull yard to search for a 740GL A/C condenser fan. It is getting hot here and if I can't find a working drop-in replacement, I don't want to wait any longer before converting to R134A.

Instead, have you folks found a thin fan off another car that would fit in-behind the Volvo grill with just a few or no mods? What car did you use as a donor and how did you perform the mods?
