A/C is cold! S90-V90 1997

Certainly they are more complex in their operation and hence less reliable but... time will tell.

It is my feeling that because the latest system runs with the ECU turning the compressor on and off and the fact that the new design compressors run "pressure limited" once the initial pressure is reached the VOV is of little extra value in the modern systems. It would be interesting to see a scientific comparison in one of the newer systems.

Anyway best of luck. Mine needs a new condensor! The aluminum corroded through down in the lower right corner where the steel support bracket is attached. "DUMB" design feature putting disimilar metals next to each other. Found the tell-tale dye there with the "black light" last night.
