Very High Idle When Warm, 1987 240

My 1987 240 has developed a problem of idling very high when warm. It does not do it when it is cold. When I stop the car and put it into park the idle jumps to 2000 to 3000 rpm. It will not come down uless I unplug the air mass meter. I tested the meter and it seems to be fine. I also cleaned the throttle body which gave no improvement. Any tips would be great.
