1990 760 GL won't shift to 4th gear and overdrive doesn't work 700 1990

It all start at yestarday. i was going down hell about 50 mph sunddely the car shift back to third gear and rpm going to 4300. I change the overdrive relay today. still have the same problem.
now it won't shift to 4th gear. any help is welcome.
