I really could use some help, this is a repost from7/1 700

If it cuts out sometimes, its electric problem.
Couldn't read from your post if you changed the lifter pump
(aka Inside fueltank pump).
There were a few posts about corrosion on the ground
of the fueltank-pump on the access-cover. I never had
that problem. Thats what I read.
When my distributor died, it died at once and remained dead.
A new distributor cost almost 300 $, you might wanna try a used one first.
(That part is gone first from all junkyard cars)
Check all the wires and grounds in the engine bay.
Replace/resolder the relay.
Could be also the ignition amplifier on the left fender.
Or the ignition switch. When you move/wiggle the key in the
ignition, what happens ? Anything ? Or nothing ?

I bet its the relay.
