A/C System question 200 1986

Hey there, It's me again, changed my name because made me sound like a thief (fivefingerDiscount240) but anyway, the A/C system is shot on my brick, and I was wondering if there would be any problems if i were to remove the condenser from the front of the radiator and plug off the lines comming out of the compressor. I discharged the system when I replaced my heater core a while ago anyway, so it's pretty much hangin right out in front of my car with no purpose. anyway, if anyone has has any experience of this type of thing in the past, let me know.
