Antenna cable of mystery... 200 1984

Yesterday i was cleaning the trunk of my brick, and removed the spare tire to get at some junk down in the wheelwell. much to my suprise, i found a female antenna hookup (like what comes out of the stereo) back there behind the spare. is this normal? what is it for? a cd changer maybe? im trying to figure this out, but so far have found absolutley no logical reason why this would be here... not really a problem, but has just been bothering me...
