Power Antenna Install 200 1984

240 and 740 did use the same power antenna. Top is secured by the ring nut that goes on the exterior of the fender, and the bottom has a bracket that clips to the fender arch in a 240. The bottom brackets are different for 240 and 740 (740 may be a screw connection instead of a clip connection) even though antenna is the same.

There are a ton of these power antennas on ebay. If you are a bit patient I bet you could pick one up for $20 or a bit more.

You may have to run the power wires to the antenna even though the coax is there.
