Cold Start Stall...3 times...then she's fine? 200

I've been working on this car since I got it...

I've replaced vacuum bellows, TPS, fuel pressure regulator, air and fuel filter, cleaned throttle body and IAC...checked all codes...replaced AMM (without any improvement despite the resistance being off in my original AMM?) and I think that's about it.

Now, after sitting overnight, it will run for about 10 seconds then stall. Attempting to pump the throttle might alter the RPM's very sluggishly, but still usually results in a stall. If you do nothing it will stall about 3 times then run just fine.

Is this the fuel pump check valve or something else?

I also now have a sorry excuse for A/C and it's dang hot in TN. I think I'm faced with either converting to R134 or charging the old one...I don't know if I should get it leak tested though first?

Thanks for all the advice and the FAQ.
