Sil is absolutely correct...brake booster wants to be connected to DIRECTLY to manifold vacuum. Period!

Beware. If however you were connected as the stock (carbureted) B20 diagram shows, and you connected it (for instance, by way of a "T" fitting)to the hose going to the manifold (by way of the orifice limited nipple) you would possibly not get vacuum to let the booster work correctly.
