Sorry for the dumb question but why is this a problem? I ask because I'm very likely going to become an owner of a 940 and want to learn as much as I can about these cars.

It would seem normal to me that turning the AC on would lead to *some* kind of change in engine rpms. After all, the engine is having to power the AC, too. Is it abnormal for the RPMs to drop?
