Major headache with 92 740.

Well, a fellow traveler along the road of endless repairs. I have a '91 745Ti and have put $3000 (including head gasket and valve job) into a car I bought for $3400, but the thing is up and runs great now. If you have a new turbo and cooling system and a lot of new parts, I would push through one more repair, get the valve job and head gasket done and hopefully you will have a pretty decent car with a lot of miles left on it. The new turbo itself, installed, is worth about $2000. Did the overheat damage any engine sensors? Coolant temp sensor? Good luck, but don't give up!
