What are my suspension options? 200 1983

Hey everyone -

It's been a long time since I last came by, but I'm looking to pick up an early 80's (likely an 83 since there is one for sale real cheap nearby) 242 DL. I've got quite a few plans for it, but my main concern is the suspension. The best solution I've seen so far have been Koni adjustables, though I don't know if they'll be stiff enough. The car will primarily be used as a race vehicle, but will venture on-road now and then.

I would love a full urethane bushing set, but have yet to find one. Is there any even made, or is the best I'll be able to find the Upper Trailing Arm Bushing Kit that is sold by EuroSport Tuning and replacing the rest with IPD/stock ones?

My main concern is if I will be able to find springs, shocks, and sway bars that will be stiff enough. I'm hoping to hack 5-700lbs. off the car by gutting it, removing the stock engine management components and go to a conventional system and standalone ECU (likely a Haltech E6K as that is what I'm using now). I'll add a little weight back on with a roll cage if I think there is just too much flex. Power won't be an issue, but driving without proper handling most definitely will.
