Yes I second what others here have said. I do know that Volvo now offers an increased capacity triple-row Nissen all aluminum radiator for the 960/S/V90, which can be plagued by cooling problems if you don't religiously follow the Volvo recomended replacement of the thermostat every 2 yrs and flush the system and use Volvo coolant.
One common misconception is that an all brass radiator is superior to the Volvo aluminum radiators. That is totaly false. It is simply due to the far greater thermal conductivity of aluminum, an aluminum radiator can have three times the heat dissipation than that of a brass one, for the same area and volume of displacement of the radiator. That means brass radiator has to be six rows to equal the stock Volvo twin row aluminum radiator. When you combine this with their coolant technology, you cannot find better cooling components in an aftermarket part.
I have been fortunate with my '96 960, but heed the warnings of others and let the dealer do all the work on my car.
DIY for this car is possible, but don't cut any corners.
