740T overheated 700 1987

My 740 Turbo lost all (most) coolant and overheated to the point of stalling, and not restarting until coolant added. It runs well now, except for a leak at the water pump.

Should I relace the water pump? What other problems should I expect and look for?

(Why did it lose the coolant, you may ask? Either the pressure cap was left off or the heater flow valve broke, and my daughter drove it without noticing the temp guage.)

Thanks,
Steve
