Coolant leak at rear of engine on my 940 900 1994

Long time reader and a first time poster. It looks like I have a pretty major coolant leak at the rear of the engine. My first suspicion was head gasket, but it looks like it's dripping from the tranny and any steam is coming from under the car, not really under the hood. Before I go replacing the head gasket or doing something rash is there any advice you experts might have? Are there cooloant lines that run to the tranny that might be the culprit? Many thanks in advance for your help.
