94 960 Won't start!

I put a new timing belt on the car and started it and let it idle for about 10 seconds and shut it off. It sat for a couple of days and when I started it again it ran for 2 seconds and quit and hasn't started back. This is the 2nd time its done this. The other time it was sitting in front of the inlaws garage and was started and pulled into the garage and shut off. It wouldn't start back after that and was towed to a garage.

Another question about the timing marks. Where are they located on the crank? Would the car start if I had it off a tooth?
