Kiki compressor on 740, possible? 700

I have a 90 745 16v with a zyxel (something like that) compressor. R134 system

Anyway, I need a new a/c compressor. I pulled a Kiki compressor off of a 90 244 (hehe $30 with 30 day warranty) It looks like it will bolt up and everything important looks the same, connections and things. Will it work? I plan to replace the oil in it with ester. I'm pretty sure that it was taken from an R12 system. There was still some pressure in the system of the 240 that I took it from.
