Coolant Leak when Running A/C 700 1990

Bought a '90 740 T wagon recently, and am thrilled with it. Noticed a strange problem the other day, though: when I drive around a bit, with A/C on (which works very well; R134 conv. I believe), and park, and I notice a small amount of coolant (maybe 2T in total) leaking from a rusted-out hole directly underneath the firewall, on the driver's side, maybe 3 inches in on the underside of the car.

Have read some info about blown heater cores, but I smell NO coolant inside when running cool/hot air from vents while A/C is off. Also, no vaccum problems seem to occur - I get air when I want it, none when I don't. Maybe just a leaky hose from the heater core?

Easy fix is to not use A/C, but it gets muggy here in Boston... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
