Ignore previous post ^^^^ Problem solved (nmi) 700

As it turns out one of the cables was snagged on a screw. It was stretched way out and there was no way for it to move on the spool. I unsnagged it and the cable tightened back to normal. Took the car for a spin and it was shifting normally again. Touchy gas pedal was gone as well. I am guessing when I was laying on top of the car my chest or arms must have pushed the cable down and when it tried to come back up it got snagged on a screw. Avoided what I thought was going to be a costly repair so I'm happy :).
