Added Info on this problem from ME 700

I will add this. This problem has only happened twice both times after completing a 170 mile trip driving hard...75+++ mpr. Otherwise it cranks and then starts fine. I drive the car daily to work with no problems.

I read about the rpm sensor but, and I may well be wrong... in the case of the rpm sensor going or being bad the car will crank or turn over but just not start. Right?

My problem is all the electrical stuff comes on, dash lights, headlights, radio etc...one of the idiot lights will even go out when I turn the key all the way to the crank position but the starter will just not come on, no click nothing... I let it sit for a while, 30 min to an hour and bingo, it will then crank and start right up.

I plan on going over the wiring this weekend. Just hoping someone can help point me in the same direction and it not be something else that I might not chatch.

Thanks to anyone that can ad some ideas...
