Alternator Wiring 200 1979

The alternator has been removed and needs to be re-installed. I am unsure of which wires go where. In the Alternator area I have found three wires (two red & one yellow). The yellow, I am assuming goes to ground on the alternator casing. I have two Red wires, (large & small). With the ignition off, the large Red wire (with eye connector) has 12v present. With the ignition off, the small Red wire (with spade connector) has no voltage present. Does either of these Red wires connect to the "D+" terminal? Now connected to the "B+" terminal, is a short black wire (broken)that appears to have gone to the Voltage Regulator? Does this short black wire have a capacitor in-line? Thanks in advance. Kyle
