virgo wheels, wheel hub pin 200 1989

Recently I aquired a set of virgos from Rhys in Vancouver, thnaks Rhys the wheels are great.

I noticed today after taking off one of the wheels that the hub pin was bent and actually dug a whole at the back of the wheel... and the brake disc was hence warpped.

Looking at the wheel it is obvious that the pin was too long for the whole at the back of the wheel... about 2 of my four virgos have tis issue, the othe rhave deeper holes...

Is this normal? Did they change sometime in the later 200 series years? Should I just emove the pin, or replace it with a screw? Should I cut down the pin?

Oponions? Experiences?

Thanks in advance.
Greg
