Rebuilt turbocharger has been idle for 3 years... 200 1979

Hi (again),

I am contemplating getting a B23FT engine (112 k. miles) which has not been started in 3 years. It is still in the donor car which has been parked outdoors in Canada. I'll take ample precautions before starting this long-sitting engine.

The B23FT sports a rebuilt Garrett T-3 turbocharger (0 miles) which has also been sitting for those 3 years.

I am unfamiliar with turbochargers. What precautions should I take regarding the turbocharger before starting the engine?

Again, many thanks...
