No start! All warning lights on dash light when key turned...HELP! 700 1989

If you were holding the key in one position (the start position) and then got the starter to engage by moving the gear selector- perhaps into neutral or simply moved it from P to 1 and back and the starter kicked in I would say you have a bad neutral safety switch. However, if you were giggling the key at the same time you giggled the gearshift it still might be the ignition switch.

I have been lucky enough not to have had the experience of changing out the neutral safty switch but it would have to been from underneath the car. If you determine that it is that switch that is causing the fault post back with a subject asking for help in replacing the neutral safety switch.
