$2300. for a 1981 Turbo wagon?

Geez for $2300 you could get me to part with my sedan. :-D

Sure it's got the rust and banged up passenger side doors. But it's got a terrific black interior, head was rebuilt a few hundred miles ago, water cooled turbo, Nissens radiator, oil temp gauge, recent fuel pumps, and the all important manual transmission. Yes, I know it's not worth nearly $2300. No I'm not really trying to sell it.

But.. $500 for your neighbor's sounds reasonable. I would try and aim for $250. The rust is one of the most tedious problems with the 240s to deal with. And of course, if the car isn't intercooled, it's not nearly as much fun as it could be. As for the interior, if you can live with above average.. more power to you. But watch out, it gets pretty tiring to own and drive around in a car with an interior you're not too happy with.
