79' 242 GT grill?? 200

hey all..
i am helping a friend who is about to buy a 1979 242GT (australian) model. It has the wide grille with 2 driving lights, and a pair of single round headlights in a square frame.
I am wondering how much modification would be required to change this to a more modern setup, ie like a mid-80's 240; large euro lights and narrower grille like on my own car..
i thought it wouild be a matter of replacing the steel supports above and around the headlights (bonnet securing plate area), and getting a new hood that is longer. and possible a 240 radiator.. im probably grossly wrong.. any help would be tops
cheers,
Chris
we want headlights and grill like below
