Belts have gotten very noisy. 200 1991

I finally got my center muffler in and now that there's relative quiet I notice that my v-belts are making LOTS of squeaky noise... not slipping. .just sounds like a bunch of overworked gerbels. When i spray
water on them (the belts, not the gerbels) it goes away. could they be too loose? the ancilliary components don't seem to be way out of align.. bushings are 12 years old but they look ok...

I've never had a car that had belts that sound like this... hmmmm..
