1984 245 Turbo now only $300. Should I take it or leave it? 200

Hi,
I posted a message about this ca a couple of weeks ago. The car is a 1984 245 turbo in good condition except for the transmission. I think the car either has a broken transmission or a bad clutch. The car runs good and looks okay. Last time I posted the guy wanted $400. Now he wants only $300 and he says he fixed the clutch, but it won't go into gear. He told me if I want it I better get it by wednesday or else he is taking it to his ranch for target practice. I would hate to see such a nice car go to waste as a shooting target. This is actualy for my friend. He wants it for delivering pizzas. He can get a good manual transmission real cheap. I was wondering how much work would it be to replace the transmission at home. Is it worth the time and effort involved? Thanks.
