Electric fan wiring for AC for '87 745 700

Checked my green manual and the electric fan is not wired into the AC compressor so far as I can tell. I could run a switch to jumper around the thermostat but isn't there a simpler way to tie this in with the AC? Like connect a wire from the compressor to the fan? My wiring skills are a little rusty.

After cleaning out my evaporator drain I was running the engine in the garage with little or no airflow and 100 degree heat index and popped a high pressure line. I know 134 runs at higher pressures so I'd like to increase airflow so this doesn't happen again.

I did a search since I think this has been discussed in the past but could not find anything specific.
