Here's Mud In Your Eye Re-visited (July 10, 2003) 1800 1965

After viewing many pictures in the gallery (not many show the mud flaps and very few with them in front) I have decided to install the mud flaps. I have looked in the fender wells for some clue as to the proper location of the flaps without success. Thought I might find some existing holes to mount the brackets but no such luck. A question for those of you who have mud flaps on your '65, (and those of you that don't but know anyway) where do they go? Can someone give me some location measurements for bracket installation front and rear? I haven't purchased the flaps yet but will do so next week.

Another non related question is Talbot fender mirrors. Again I saw only one 1800S with what looked like the Talbot raceing type mirrors. Most pictures had a conventional type mirror located on the drivers door. What's up with this type mirror did some have them and some not, another dealer option possibly? The ones I have are in very nice shape and I want to re-install them.

Thanks I'm Havinfun
