It all started after evaporator replaced!!!!!!!! 700 1985

My passenger floor front and back didn't get wet until after my evaporator was replaced-coincidence? Although floor usually gets wet after a rain, The mechanic screwed up the ac; so I was wondering what else he might have botched up that would allow water to soak the passanger side floor.
