new amazon owner, new to list 120-130 1966

Hello Brickboard,

Last weekend I retrieved a '66 122S from the previous owner. I "won" it on Ebay. I wasn't even looking for a Volvo, let alone an Amazon. My total experience with the 122S before now is that I rode in one once (and a P1800 once -- same friend owned both). I think the old Timex commercial with John Cameron Swazey (sp?) "strapped in" is the only other exposure to the 122 I've ever had.

Now that I've got it home, I have to make it run. I've spent several hours reading the archives and such. Eventually, I'll have questions. Right now, I just need to get it running (it died on the highway, the 16 year old owner killed the starter trying to crank it again). Once I get a new starter (yep, burned to a crackely-crunch), I can find out why it died and never restarted.

I posted a picture in the "cars" section of the gallery for anyone who might want to see it. That picture is from the E-bay advert.
