Engine idles hard and is slow to change gears after AMM replaced 200

I was having trouble with my car stalling when giving it gas andi just replaced the AMM and it fixed that...

However, now the car tries to die when i start it up but dosn't if i give it gas. If i give it gas for about 20+ seconds and i get it moving it stays on. In addition, it seems like its taking too long to change gears (AM) which is killing acceration...a farily significant problem when i'm getting on highways through on-ramps. ANy idea what i can do to fix this?
