Engine knock solved - thanks 200 1990

Thanks for the for a fix. My 240 was knocking a lot. It was more noticeable in warm weather. A fellow boarder mentioned that he had fixed a similar problem by plugging the hot air inlet. Tha gave me an idea. I checked the air box thermostat, and sure enough it was bad. I replaced it and knock is gone. The advice probably saved me the cost of a Air mass meter also.

Now on to the vibration a t 50 mph, the rust, the exhaust, and the sqeaking rear brakes. (does it ever end?)
