940 Wagon 3rd seat install

I put a 3rd seat in my 1995 945 a couple of months ago. The brackets are in the far corners of the spare wheel "well" when viewed from the back of the car. I can't imagine they forgot to put them in when they built your car (though anything is possible). They are supposed to be in all 740/940/960 wagons, exact same design as the seats are interchangeable between these models. Dumb question - you removed the "carpet" thing that covers up the spare wheel- right? Unfortunately, I am the last person in the civilized world who does not yet own a digital camera otherwise I would go out and take a photo. The Volvo installation instructions kind of show the brackets, though not real clearly.
