clunking noise when turning left 900 1994

I have a '94 940 turbo wagon which started about a month ago making a clunking noise when I make a left turn. The noise sounds like it is coming from the left wheel area (drivers side). I had the car in the shop for a radiator replacement and timing belt and asked them to check out the problem. They said they could not find anything wrong, but maybe the bushings needed replacing. I replaced them myself and the noise is still there. Also when I put the brakes on and come to a stop the steering wheel vibrates. If I come to a slow stop it doesn't vibrate. Any suggestions?
