intermittent stalling and cutting out of 1983 240 DL... 200 1983

My 83 240 DL has recently starting acting strange and will cut out totally or almost cut out while driving along and at random times. I thought the problem or part of it was my engine harness. I replaced the engine harness to solve all those harness problems. But it still cut out at times, while driving. I then went to the fuel pump relay, which seems to be working. However, I think one of the two relays has never been replaced so I am replacing both relays with new ones. I hope that will do the trick and solve the problem. If not, anyone have any other ideas about what to look towards? All fuses have been checked and cleaned. Please help me out. Thanks, Doug
