Temperature Sensor Specs? 200 1983

The 83 is running a little ratty - hesitation & mild jerkiness on acceleration, it's just not as smooth as usual. A few years back the same symptoms were diagnosed and cured by the dealer by replacing the coolant temp sensor. Not the one for the dash gauge - the one for the computer. Apparently it was telling the ECU the engine was cold, so the misture was over-rich. Tending to confirm - the fuel economy has dropped noticeably.

Before I start the old cure-by-spending-on-parts technique I'd like to test the sensor. Does anyone know what the resistance vs. temp characteristics are supposed to be?

I bid on one on eBay, but someone (one of you guys??) beat me out by about 50cents....dang.
