Oh yeah. I can't wait until all HC based refrigerants are banned. I think I saw someone on the sbricks list mention that CO2 was being used in Europe. Of course there are also the legions of people who don't believe that R12 is ozone damaging. Ayie.

With all of this doubt, I almost wonder if I should wait for the next big refrigerant before trying to fix up my AC.

What struck me as funny was that R134a is illegal to vent from an automotive AC setup (fine by me), but legal to vent from those little office duster cans (!).
